I would like to welcome you to the website of the premier youth football organization in Northern Michigan. The YMCA Pop Warner Association began in 1995 with 10 teams from four contiguous counties. We presently have over 70 football teams representing 10 counties. In addition, there are also over 25 cheer teams contributing to the fun and excitement on Saturdays in the fall. The combination of these activities offers a clean, safe, and supervised environment for over 2,000 youngsters in our communities.

The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA oversees the administrative needs of this continuing project. Barb Beckett and her fine staff act as a liaison between the national Pop Warner organization and our own youth football initiative. Each community creates its own association and finances it independently.

YMCA Pop Warner Football in Northern Michigan is an exhilarating experience and I encourage you to support those unselfish people that are actively involved in Pop Warner in your community.
